Origin: Guamuchil, also known as Manila Tamarind or Madras Thorn, is native to tropical regions of Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. Our Guamuchil is sustainably grown in tropical climates where warm sunshine helps develop its signature sweet-tart flavor.

Flavor Profile: Guamuchil has a sweet and tangy flavor with notes of tamarind, citrus, and brown sugar. The soft, crunch and sometime creamy pulp offers a unique balance of tropical sweetness and tartness that makes it incredibly snackable.

How To Eat: Guamuchil is ready to enjoy as soon as it arrives. Simply crack open the brittle outer shell and remove the sweet edible pulp surrounding the glossy black seeds. Discard the seeds and enjoy the fresh pulp as a snack, or use it in juices, candies, jams, and refreshing tropical drinks.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

Small Box contains up to 2–3 pounds.
Large Box contains up to 4–6 pounds.

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
