Origin: Imbe's Latin name is Garcinia livingstonei also known as African Mangosteen, Lowveld Mangosteen, or Livingstone's Garcinia) is native to a broad area of Tropical and Southern regions in Africa. 

 

Our Imbe is grown here in South Florida and the trees have the ability to thrive in this Sub-Tropical climate. 

Flavor Profile: Imbe is a sweet and tart fruit in the Garcinia family. The flavor has a rich sweetness as most Garcinias do, with notes of orange and citrus flavors.

How To Eat: Imbe is ready to eat when picked. Consume or refrigerate as soon as your order is delivered.
